Dear readers and friends,
Thank you for all the support and love you have shown Curmudgeon since Foster and I started this project. As many of you know, we have had our ups and downs with keeping up a weekly posting schedule while both of us work and take classes in addition to being involved in many other projects. We have struggled with finicky and often unavailable technologies and often pulled all nighters to post. I can certainly say that I have grown as an artist from this challenge and learned a lot about working with a set of characters regularly. Right now I don’t feel that I have the commitment to developing this story, in this venue, that the hard work of keeping Curmudgeon going requires. I’m not quite sure how I feel right now about this whole webcomic thing, and so I’m taking a break. I look forward to working on other projects for a while, in other places. I have a lot of tenderness for Jabby and Oz and the gang, and I look forward to returning to their stories in the not so distant future. We’re not quitting, just taking a break, and we’ll keep you updated.
